In the second quarter of 2022, the top five Travel and Local apps on Android in Latvia showed diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Circle K experienced a notable surge in weekly downloads, starting at a modest 260 downloads in the last week of March and culminating at approximately 8.5K by the end of June. The most significant spikes occurred in the weeks of May 30 and June 20, with downloads reaching 5.6K and 8K, respectively.

Tuul also saw fluctuations in its download numbers. The app started strong with 1.7K downloads in early April, peaking at around 2.5K in the week of April 11. However, the downloads gradually declined, stabilizing at around 700 by the end of June.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Beginning with 628 downloads in late March, the app reached a peak of over 1.3K downloads in the final week of June. Notable growth periods were observed in the weeks of June 6 and June 27, with 1K and 1.3K downloads, respectively.

CityBee shared mobility showed relatively stable download numbers, starting at 845 downloads at the end of March and peaking at 985 in late May. Despite minor fluctuations, the app maintained a consistent performance with downloads hovering around 800 to 900 for most of the quarter.

Live Earth Map 3D demonstrated a dramatic rise in downloads, particularly in June. From a low of 52 downloads in early May, the app surged to 4.6K downloads in the week of June 6, eventually settling at around 1.8K by the end of the month.
